As a Producer and Project Manager at Plan A, you will play a crucial role in driving our projects forward. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to launch, while ensuring that the project stays within scope, budget, and timeline. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, developers, and artists, to create high-quality games that meet our company’s and client standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of game development projects, from concept to launch
- Develop, implement, and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are on track, within scope, and meeting quality standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and establish contingency plans when necessary
- Coordinate and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients
- Track project progress, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders
- Ensure a clear understanding of project goals, scope, and objectives among team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and creative work environment that inspires innovation and high performance
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in game development or similar domain, with at least 1 year in a producer or project management role
- Proven track record of managing game development projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of game design, development, and production processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Exceptional time management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and other collaboration tools
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus
- Industry-recognized Project Management certifications is a plus
*This position offers a competitive hiring range of $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 USD per year. However, the base pay offered to the successful candidate may differ depending on their geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We strive to offer competitive compensation that is reflective of the individual’s qualifications and market conditions.
